ImpulseRadar USA, Inc. (IRU) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ImpulseRadar AB Sweden. The company is rapidly growing due to its technical edge in both 2D and 3D Ground Penetrating Radar systems and adjacent technology. These systems are used in a broad spectrum of disciplines to obtain information from the underground or within structures. ImpulseRadar also offers UAV LiDAR/Photogrammetry systems augmenting the underground information with above ground digital twins.

Preferred candidates have a technical 4-year degree in geosciences, professional surveying, engineering, or physical sciences or can demonstrate the ability to learn highly technical concepts. Candidates must have excellent communication and writing skills as well as be able to travel and meet with customers on a routine basis. Experience and Part 107 certification and processing LiDAR data is a plus.

Sales and Marketing Support Tasks

1. Attend trade shows and exhibitions as requested regionally, nationally, and internationally.

2. Market and sell products from web leads, direct cold calling, mining databases, and follow up from trade shows and exhibitions.

3. Assist in any development, maintenance, and workflow for lead generation software CRM systems.

4. Provide innovative ideas for all social media and other media platforms to promote the company product line.

5. Assist in publication of articles, product press releases, or other media.

6. Provide training on UAV/LiDAR products as needed.

7. Support customers as needed potentially meeting in person to trouble shoot systems as needed shipping replacement/loaner equipment or any spare components.

8. Provide market intelligence regarding UAV/LiDAR products’ position in the range of application areas of UAV/LiDAR/Photogrammetry for survey, inspection, agriculture, natural resources and more.

9. Provide information and ideas on improvements to all products including hardware and software.

You will be part of our R&D team, which today consists of 8 people. They develop innovative products within GPR and drive both hardware and software development in close collaboration with the production department, sales/marketing, and external customers. A central part of their work is to develop software for real-time visualization and analysis of GPR data. We are now looking for a developer who wants to be involved in further developing their solutions and taking them to the next level. Your main focus will be the development of real-time visualization of GPR data in 3D, where both performance and user-friendliness are crucial.

More specifically, you will:

• Develop software in Flutter and Dart, where performance-critical parts are handled in C
• Implement graphics rendering to visualize GPR data in real-time – interactively, powerfully, and user-friendly
• Optimize the software for maximum performance and efficiency
• Use compute shaders and other techniques to improve performance in signal processing

We are looking for

• Someone who has deep knowledge and experience in C programming and understanding of performance-critical systems
• Someone who has experience in modern graphics programming, e.g., Vulkan, Direct3D 12, or similar
• Someone who has a good understanding of real-time applications and software optimization for high performance
• A person that Is self-motivated, proactive, and a good problem solver, also cooperative and enjoys working in a team
• Someone who has good knowledge of English, as much of the work is conducted in English

As an Electronic Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the manufacturing process of our Ground Penetrating Radar products, including critical fault finding, service and repair.

Responsibilities

·        Assist in the design and oversee the production process for our electronic products, ensuring they are of the highest quality.

·        Develop and maintain electronic schematics and layouts using software tools.

·        Manage and maintain production equipment and ensure its proper functioning.

·        Test and troubleshoot electronic products to ensure they meet required specifications.

·        Work with our supply chain, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.

·        Ensure that products meet all relevant regulatory and safety standards.

·        Develop and implement testing procedures and ensure that all electronic products are thoroughly tested before being released to customers.

·        Provide technical support to the production team, customers, sales team, and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.

·        Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic product design and manufacturing.

·        Experience with PCB design and layout software.

·        Understanding of digital and analogue circuits and their components.

·        Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analysers.

·        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic products.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
